To mark National Album Day 2026, Universal Music Recordings and Island Records are reissuing Robbie Williams' third studio album, Sing When You're Winning, as a limited-edition 2LP red/blue vinyl set. This will be the first time this iconic album has been reissued on vinyl, as well as its first-ever release on coloured vinyl. As with the original version, the 2LPs will play at 45 RPM.
Originally released in August 2000, Sing When You're Winning was Robbie's third consecutive UK No. 1 album – and one of an extraordinary 16 chart-topping albums to date. It spent three weeks at the top as part of a 77-week run on the chart, eventually achieving 8× Platinum sales status and selling more than 2.4 million copies in the UK alone. It includes the singles 'Rock DJ' (No. 1, August 2000), 'Kids', a duet with Kylie Minogue (No. 2, October 2000), 'Supreme' (No. 4, December 2000), 'Let Love Be Your Energy' (No. 10, April 2001), and 'The Road to Mandalay', a double A-side release with the non-album track 'Eternity' (No. 1, July 2001). 'Better Man' was also released as a single in Australia and New Zealand, reaching the Top 10 in both countries.
Critically acclaimed on release, Mojo magazine described Sing When You're Winning as "undoubtedly his best record...", Entertainment Weekly said it contained "ample reason for connoisseurs of great pop to rejoice, whatever their age", while Rolling Stone magazine summed it up as "an audio spectacle". At the 2001 BRIT Awards, 'Rock DJ' won British Single of the Year and British Video of the Year, while Robbie deservedly took home the British Male Solo Artist award – the second of four times he received the accolade.
