Genre: Punk and Hardcore.

Formed in Watford in 2005, Gallows tore into a UK scene that had gone soft. While everyone else was polishing their sound for radio, Gallows brought blood, sweat, and real danger back to the stage.

Fronted by a young and incandescent Frank Carter, alongside guitarist Laurent Barnard, bassist Stuart Gili-Ross, rhythm guitarist Steph Carter and drummer Lee Barratt, Gallows blew the cobwebs off UK hardcore with their debut, Orchestra Of Wolves, released 25th September 2006.

Recorded on the band's own dime with Kevin Banks, and released through In At The Deep End Records, the album caught fire fast. Word of mouth alone was enough to earn it an international reissue. First through Epitaph in the US, then Warner Bros. worldwide a year later.

All 12 tracks were written by the band themselves; songs about alienation, street violence, suburban rot, and heartbreak, thrown down over galloping rhythms and snarling guitars. Standouts include "Abandon Ship," "Kill the Rhythm," "Stay Cold," the title track, a cover of The Ruts' "Staring at the Rude Bois" (feat. Lethal Bizzle), and the breakout "In the Belly of a Shark."

Now remastered for the first time ever by Matt Colton at Metropolis Studios, Orchestra Of Wolves sounds meaner than ever.

Available: black vinyl 1LP, CD and an indie-exclusive Black & Pink Splatter vinyl.

Format: Indies Pink & Black Splatter LP
