An evening of poetry, storytelling, live music and conversation, bringing together local creative voices in a relaxed, welcoming setting at Hey Joe Music & Coffee.
Hosted in collaboration with Brentwood Climate Action and Chicken and Frog Bookshop, The Progress Sessions is a space for thoughtful songs, spoken word, shared ideas and community connection, with a focus on creativity, sustainability and positive local action.
Expect a laid-back evening soundtracked by live performers, alongside local beers, cocktails, coffee and homemade baking.

Hey Joe Music & Coffee is an independent record store, café & bar. Our full café and bar menu is available throughout the day and during all of our event evenings. We also regularly feature guest chefs serving a range of street food from around the world, please see our socials (@heyjoemusicuk) for upcoming kitchen takeovers and food schedules.
All ages are welcome at our events, although under 16s must be accompanied by an adult. Seating can be reserved upon request, however please note that some events may become standing only depending on ticket demand.
