Illness

The Illness are a Liverpool-York (and beyond) based alt rock collective that traverse genres, as guided by the revolving door of collaborators that augment the core line-up from song to song. Their full-length debut, 'Macrodosed', is an eclectic but defiantly melodic collection of addictive hooks that pulls from all corners of popular alternative music. The song Speedway Star features the distinctive sound of David Pajo (Slint/Tortoise/Papa M etc) on lead vocals (Pajo can also be heard lending his unique guitar stylings later on the record).
